August 24, 2016

I made it over to Verde Valley Farmer’s Market this weekend and was happy to run into Marshall Miglin from Sunnyside Farm in Camp Verde. Besides growing some amazing squash, Sunnyside has been raising delicious chickens since last year. These pastured chickens are supplemented with organic feed and butchered in the open air on the farm where they were raised. Both whole chickens and cuts are available, so if you’re interested in local poultry, you can reach Marshall at (480) 760-1980.

Next week will be the last flower distribution for the season, so enjoy the last few bouquets. I will miss Whipstone Farm’s beautiful flowers more than I’d like to admit!

Have a beautiful week,
Meghan
