What a wonderful first week! I hope you all enjoyed your first basket as much as I did. Thanks to everyone who shared the yummy things they were making with us on Facebook or by email. We love to see your enthusiasm for the food our farmers deliver each week.

This week we get a special spring crop: asparagus! Whipstone Farm grows this lovely spring vegetable and we are so lucky they can harvest enough for us to enjoy it. Another item we probably won’t see again this season is radicchio, a member of the chicory family with a bitter flavor that mellows when roasted or grilled. We hope you enjoy trying something new and unique!

Have a great week!
Meghan
