July 22, 2015

Thank goodness we finally got some rain! Along with the humidity, everyone’s crops must be overjoyed. We’re beginning to leave the mid-season slump and get more tomatoes and summer squash, and will be getting cucumbers and eggplants just around the corner.

This has been a great season for all types of fruit and we hope you are enjoying all that you are receiving this year. We would love to see some of the things you have been making. Please feel free to post pictures and/or recipes on our Facebook page and share your inspiration.

Payments for the second half of the season are due this week. If you are paying in two installments, please send in your second payment of $275 by Wednesday, July 22nd, to Verde Valley CSA, 2773 Middle Verde Rd., Camp Verde, AZ 86322. I will be at the Sedona distribution this week and will be able to take your checks as well.

Best wishes,
Meghan
